Winter Apple Tree Pruning

Florence Court House, Marble Arch Road, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, BT92 1DB
Florence Court House in the winter sun

About

Join us in the garden for an introduction to winter pruning where you will get a tour of the orchard, hear more about pruning at this time of the year and how to care for the different forms and types of tree.

In winter the trees are pruned to mainly manage the overall shape of the tree. The pruning also encourages summer growth.

Learn more about the orchard's history and go home with goodies at the end of the session.

Come along on Thursday 9th February to take part. This is a free activity, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Please book onto one of the following sessions: 11am - 12pm 2pm - 3pm

Each session has a maximum capacity of twelve people. If you have anything specific you would like to see covered in the sessions or to find out more, contact kathy.dunphy@nationaltrust.org.uk
