Enniskillen is a very special town in many ways, built on an Island, Enniskillen is Ireland’s only Island Town, and is over 400 years old!

There are various historical building throughout the town, however the most significant of those is Enniskillen Castle. The earliest reference to Enniskillen Castle occurs in 1439 (Annals of Ulster); built for Hugh 'The Hospitable' Maguire. There are tours of Enniskillen Castle available throughout the year, and a lovely warm welcome awaits at the Café At The Castle, a must visit location when in Enniskillen.
