About

If you have previously visited the Marble Arch Caves for a guided cave tour and wondered what lays beyond the show cave then this event is the perfect opportunity to get a real feel for the expanse of the cave system.

This event is being run as part of our 2025 celebrations, this year marks 130 years since Edouard Martel first explored the Marble Arch Caves in 1895 and 40 years since the Marble Arch Caves open as a tourist attraction in 1985.

Event Instructor

The Wild Caving session will be led by Sean Corrigan. Sean is a Certified Cave Leader, and member of the Speleological Union of Ireland. . During this caving session, Sean will take the small group of cavers through wild sections of the cave system exploring the passages and showing how the cave was formed.
