Meet the Maker - Saturday 4th December
Join Catherine Swan and hear how growing up in rural Northern Ireland and always having a love for the outdoors and everything that comes with it has influenced her art. As you watch Catherine at work you will see how she has taken inspiration from the animals to the fields and mountains, to the rivers and lakes around her.
Free Event: No booking required (suitable for all ages)

Meet the Maker - Saturday 5th December
Join Rachel, watch her ceramic pieces come to life as she works, hear stories of how she takes inspiration from the majestic countryside of Northern Ireland and learn about some of her techniques used in her craft. Take in the ambience of this award-winning ceramic designer and maker and undertake a little Christmas shopping of your own as you check out her beautiful pieces in our gift shop.

Craft Activity - Foraging and Christmas Wreath Making
Take a winter woodland walk through the majestic Cladagh Glen Nature Reserve with our Ranger, Kate Crane learning about the local woodland species. Collect the materials required to make your native wreath, get back into nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquillity of the forest. Returning to the warm ambience of the Visitor Centre you will join our crafty colleague, Claire Irvine who will provide inspiration and assist you in transforming the raw materials into a stunning Christmas display.
Charged Event: Adult Only £4.00 per person, online booking required.
