Love to Paddle Eco Trip - Dawn Chorus Paddle - FRIDAY 29th MAY

Round O, Enniskillen, Fermanagh, BT747EU
LoTP 20thMay 1

About

This is a guided lough paddle exploring the beautiful blueways of Fermanagh, open to members and non-members. The trip will be led by our friendly, experienced and highly qualified coaches, who all have a passion for the outdoors, and providing awesome experiences for our participants :)

A lough trip with a difference. It's an early start for this trip (5am!) which will begin at the Round O and head towards the lock at Portora through the woodland corridor which is alive with song birds. If you have never experienced a spring time dawn chorus before – this will be an unforgettable experience – especially when from a kayak. Thanks to grant support from Waterways Ireland this trip will be guided by a RSPB staff member. We will meet at 5.00am at Round O and will be back by 8.00am for breakfast and still time to get to work!

We have excellent, stable touring kayaks that fit a wide range of people and are straight running, enabling people to enjoy this journey.

We will provide all paddlesport equipment you need; kayak or canoe, spraydecks, paddles, buoyancy aids and helmets. We will be using sea kayaks for this trip.

The only thing we can't supply is your personal paddling wear.

For these trips, normal outdoor clothes suitable for the prevailing weather (tracksuit, fleeces or walking clothes and waterproofs, including shoes to get wet) are perfectly fine. If you have a wetsuit, that's great, please feel free to wear it. If you are unsure about what to wear just get in touch with us.

A full set of dry clothes including shoes and a towel are essential to bring for your comfort and safety.
