Enjoy Heritage week in Leitrim from August 16th to 24th. The Organic Centre will host four family friendly free events on site, kicking off with a talk about the history and heritage of apples with Phil Wheal on Sunday 17th August. Steffi Otto will be wood carving, spoons and toys on Tuesday 19th of August from 11am -3pm, and on Friday 22nd there will be hand spinning, transforming fleece to fabric with Eimear O Neill. Finally on Water Heritage Day, August 24th there's a Water is life/water sampling adventure with ecologist Yosef Dvores, two sessions on 11am-12pm and 1pm to 2pm. Book now for each individual event to avoid disappointment.
