Enniskillen Workhouse: A Guided Tour EHOD 2026

About

Step inside history at the beautifully restored Enniskillen Workhouse Entrance Block.

Join Catherine Scott for a powerful 90-minute guided experience exploring over 100 years of Workhouse life. Walk through the heritage spaces, discover newly restored interiors, and uncover the real stories of the people who lived and worked here.

Enniskillen Workhouse Entrance Block has been carefully restored and reopened as both a heritage space and a vibrant business hub. This historic landmark, transformed into a modern enterprise facility, now offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience its past while seeing how the building has been brought back to life for the present day.

Thanks to the generous £2.3 million investment from The National Lottery Heritage Fund in 2019, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, in partnership with South West College, has sympathetically conserved this magnificent Victorian stone building—preserving its architectural character while creating a compelling and immersive visitor experience.
