Barton Wine, Art & Cheese Evening Launch

About

Cassidy Hospitality Group will host a special Wine, Art & Cheese Evening on Wednesday 4th June at the Gourmet Grocer in Enniskillen, as part of the inaugural Wine Geese Festival – a programme marking 300 years since Thomas Barton left Fermanagh for Bordeaux and began a legacy that would shape the international wine world.
Guests will enjoy a tasting of three French wines – including one from the Barton family's world-renowned vineyard – alongside Irish cheeses and canapés served throughout the evening. The Gourmet Grocer's extensive wine range will also be on show, with wines available to purchase or order on the night.
A member of the Barton family will join the evening to share a few words about their roots in Fermanagh and their continuing connection to Ireland.
The café will also become a one-night-only gallery, with original works exhibited by The Island Artists. Several pieces have been generously donated for a charity auction in support of Rotary Club Enniskillen, with the rest available to browse and buy. The artists will be on hand to speak about their work.
