Patchwork Printing

Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, Tyrone, BT78 5QU
Patchwork Printing inspired by the quilts at the Folk Park

About

Visit the Photographic Emporium on American Street to try lino printing, inspired by the vibrant colours and geometric patterns of patchwork quilts at the Ulster American Folk Park.

Discover how traditional patchwork techniques combined colour, pattern and texture to create decorative and functional quilts for the home. Then, with the guidance of our Education team, you'll use ink and recycled paper to create stunning, quilt-inspired prints to take home.

This summer craft activity is perfect for families, textile enthusiasts, printmakers, and anyone looking to explore new creative possibilities.

Patchwork Printing sessions will take place from 11:00 to 13:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until Thursday 28th August and is included in general admission. This is a drop-in activity with a capacity for 6 people at a time.
