About

An island community founded in the 6th century by St Molaise. Suffered Viking attack in 837 and burned in 1157. In the Middle Ages it flourished as the parish church and St Mary's Augustinian Priory. Best known for its intact round tower, there is much else to see and explore.  Please note that facilities and access may be limited.
