Come and get boggin' with us at the Folk Park!

Ulster American Folk Park, 2 Mellon Road, Omagh, Tyrone, BT78 5QU
The Conservation Volunteers

About

Join The Conservation Volunteers right here at the Ulster American Folk Park for European Heritage Open Days and get boggin' in our native bog. It is an extremely valuable habitat in our fight against climate change, absorbing and storing high levels of carbon, whilst supporting a wealth of native flora and fauna.

At the Folk Park, we are fortunate to be host to one of these precious resources. Come learn just how important our bogs are to our way of life and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to help save our bog from the invasive species threatening its special ecosystem.

As this is an outdoor activity, please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Each session will last 2.5 hours.
