The Happy Prince

This was BID’s first mural and is located on Water Street. John Houston from Houstons offered this wall and the mural is based on the Oscar Wilde story of The Happy Prince

Ted Hastings

Superintendent Ted Hastings from TV’s The Line of Duty is played by Enniskillen actor Adrian Dunbar. The character’s “Now we’re suckin diesel” catchphrase can be found at the back of Charlies Bar, on the corner of Middleton Street and Water Street.

The Pike

Pike are the main type of fish found in the waters of Lough Erne. This mural brings colour to what was a dark, grey wall on Paget Lane. This location was offer by Joe the Baker where he operates his bread table.

One for Sorrow

Ground level on Paget lane was the perfect spot for this mural of seven magpies from the rhyme “One for Sorrow, Two for Joy”. The mural shows magpies stealing a pair of old boots as this location was originally a shoe menders.

Enniskillen Fisherman

The rear of the Crowes Nest bar was offered as a location in Spring 2022. Local and international fishermen mean so much to the people of Fermanagh and this mural is a tribute to them.

Musicians on the Diamond

Pat’s Bar regularly hosts lively traditional music sessions. This mural celebrates the great skill and tradition of musicians in Fermanagh, and of the importance of traditional music as part of its cultural heritage. The fiddler is based on the famous Fermanagh musician, John McManus.

The Dance

Enniskillen being an island town has many bridges. “The Dance” mural can be found under the East Bridge. Incorporating the troll bridge, dancing fairies and other creatures.

Stairway to Heaven

The most recent mural can be found on the side of Belmore Court & Motel. The design incorporates the Cuilcagh Boardwalk, also known as the Stairway to Heaven. Located just outside Enniskillen, the popular boardwalk was the inspiration for this mural.
