About
Triumphal Arch Lodge is a Grade B listed gatelodge on the Colebrooke Estate, one of Northern Ireland's most important and historic stately homes. The estate's history dates back to the 1640s and it has been home to notable figures including Field Marshal Viscount Alan Brooke and former Northern Ireland Prime Minister Basil Brooke.
Renovated and refurbished by the present Viscount and Viscountess Brookeborough, the estate sits in the heart of County Fermanagh, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is only a short distance from the tranquillity of Lough Erne.
Guests can arrange fishing on the Colebrooke River, walking trails, and bird watching directly through the estate, which is home to wildlife including red squirrels, deer, and otters – guests often watch the sunrise over the forest and the sunset over the rolling hills from the grounds.
Fermanagh's wider lakelands are close by too, with Lough Erne, Florence Court, and the Marble Arch Caves all within easy reach – the Caves to Cruise combo pass, pairing the caves with the Erne Water Taxi, is worth building a day around.
