For world rivers day the Cavan Adventure Centre invites you to explore the Lough Oughter Waterways on an ecological tour with Chris, our Biodiversity Coordinator He will guide you along the waterway and showcase some of the wonderful and native variety of plants and animals that inhabit the land here. The Lough Oughter Waterway system is protected as a Special Area of Conservation and is host to many species of waterfowl, freshwater fish and aquatic flora as well.
Suitability: Basic fitness required (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)
Please wear sturdy footwear and warm waterproof clothing but also factor in sunny weather.
