About

A Crom estate courtyard cottage set close to the shores of the Lough Erne.

Willow is a cosy cottage located just a short stroll from the banks of Lough Erne. This traditional stone property, complete with wooden sliding sash windows and a large open fire, was once used to house farm workers.

Take advantage of your unique location and explore some of the 2,000  acres that make up the Crom estate, to discover the old castle ruins and ancient yew trees. On the shores of Lough Erne, you can go canoeing along its trail where you’ll discover its scattered islands and narrow channels. Crom is home to a variety of plants and animals, the diversity of habitats makes it an important conservation site. Look out for butterflies, red squirrels, otters and pine martens, and visit the new bird hide in a quiet corner of the estate.

Further afield, enjoy a fascinating walk around Cavan Burren. This fascinating prehistoric landscape is dotted with ancient tombs and monuments as well as stunning geological features.
