Lower Lough Erne Pilgrim Experience - Sunday 17th of September
The Experience will comprise of a 4 hour tour of Lower Lough Erne by Water Taxi for up to 8 people with an experienced local guide. The journey will take the route of the ancient highway used by the first settlers and later the Monks and Pilgrims of Lough Erne.
The tour will showcase the ‘Broad Lough’ as it is know locally, stopping as sites such as Devenish Island, Inishmacsaint and White Island. At each site, participants will have the chance to hear about the fascinating history and ask questions relating to how the sites were used in the past.
The tour will Depart from the shoreline of Enniskillen Castle, once part of the Pilgrim trail and will help to tie together theses important sites in one tour.
Spaces are limited to 8 persons and is suitable for all (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)
