Ulster American Folk Park - Come and get 'boggin’ with us - EHOD 2023

2 Mellon Road, Omagh, County Tyrone, BT78 5QU
A group pic of 7 Attendees from last year's bogging event holding a sign saying I got mucky in the Bog.

About

The Ulster American Folk Park along with The Conservation Volunteers invite you to come and get boggin’ this European Heritage Open Day.

Our Native Bogs are an extremely valuable habitat in our fight against climate change. They have the ability to absorb and store high levels of carbon, whilst supporting a wealth of native flora and fauna.

Here at the Ulster Folk Park we are host to one of these precious resources. Come and learn just how important our bogs are and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to help save our bog from the invasive species which threaten its special ecosystem.
