Pollnagollum Wild Caving
Join an experienced Cave Leader and Geopark staff to explore the depths of the fabulous Victorian showcave, Pollnagollum. Learn about how the cave formed over geological time, the history of the exploration and how it received its name.
Follow the route of the water after it crashes from the top of a 40ft cliff and disappears underground into the unknown. Find out why this spot is special enough to be assigned legal protection and what you can do to help preserve the cave and the surrounding areas of the Geopark for generations to come.
All equipment will be provided but please wear warm waterproof clothing and wellies.
