Description:
Marjorie Leonard was born and educated in County Fermanagh. She studied Art at the University of Ulster, Belfast, where she graduated with a B.A. (Hons) Degree. An accomplished watercolourist, Marjorie is primarily a painter of the Irish rural landscape. Nature has always been her main inspiration and the countryside of Fermanagh in particular a major influence in her work. Her paintings are defined by their essence of light, colour and atmosphere.
Marjorie has exhibited widely. She is a member of the Ulster Watercolour Society and an exhibitor with the Royal Ulster Academy. Her work is included in art collections world-wide. Her current work can be seen in her Studio Gallery at the Buttermarket Courtyard, Enniskillen.
Work can be viewed all year.
