Welcome to Culture Night Enniskillen 2017!

Culture Night, a UK and Ireland celebration of culture, creativity and the arts, is returning to the Fermanagh area for the second year this autumn.  On Friday 22 September from 5pm to 10pm locals and visitors can enjoy the unique experience of Culture Night, with lots of FREE activities and entertainment.

Connect Youth Dance - 4.30pm - 5.45pm (Various Times)
Connect Youth Dance is Dylan Quinn Dance Theatres regular youth dance group for 12-18 yr olds. In summer 2017 the group created a short dance performance piece which will be presented within the grounds of Enniskillen Castle. The performance has been created out of a series of movement activities and explorations, there is no narrative theme and it provides the audience with the opportunity to enjoy young performers exploring and presenting movement in an emotional and intelligent way.

JETS - 6pm - 8pm (Various Times)

Meet Our Museum Muses - 6pm - 10pm
Meet our museum muses who will expertly guide you through our new displays on the Fermanagh Lakelands, Enniskillen Town, William Scott Art Gallery and the Fermanagh Hearth. Be inspired to learn more about the muses who influenced Fermanagh’s own writers, painters, artists and antiquarians.

Play With Clay - Ceramics Workshop - 6pm - 8pm
Shauna Mc Cann - Hand building clay workshop. Suitable for all age groups, adults included. All work will be made using air drying clay so participants can take all work home. Participants may choose to paint and decorate their work when it has dried.

Zumba - 6pm - 7pm
Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre runs a number of Zumba dance exercise class throughout Fermanagh. The classes are fun, energetic and best of all help you keep physically and mentally fit and healthy.

Multi Language Event (Vietnamese, Polish, Irish, Ulster Scots & Sign Language) - 6.30pm - 10pm
Visitors have the chance to come along and learn some words and phrases in a different language.

Michael Hoy - Stone Carving - 6.30pm - 10pm
Michael is a sculptor, architectural stone carver, and letter cutter, the only fully qualified one in the North west, based in Monea Co Fermanagh. Michael will be doing a stone carving demonstration.

Fermanagh Concert Band & Dylan Quinn Dance - 7pm - 8pm
Fermanagh Concert Band will perform some of your favourites and there will be the opportunity to dance to their wonderful sounds with assistance from Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre.

Film - DUST - 7pm - 8pm / 9pm - 10pm
Screenings of the short film DUST, a dance and poetry collaboration will be shown.

Poetry Reading - 8pm - 9pm
Maria Mc Manus reading from her forthcoming collection of new poetry ‘Available Light’.

Equinox Lantern Parade - 8pm - 9pm
Devenish Partnership Forum will perform an Equinox lantern parade while reciting a specially constructed piece reflection the Equinox.

Caritas - Mixed Voice Choir - 9.30pm - 10pm
Caritas , a mixed-voice choir of 35 members, formed in 2014 featuring local singers from the Enniskillen area.
